Tairnadal gone wild! Mournland edition

May 04, 2012 7:57:42 I am absolutely certain I read somewhere about a Tairnadal fort in the Mournland where the elves (and their horses) have gone totally bonkers. IIRC they were given a perma-rage ability in 3.5. But now I can't find this information anywhere! I'm pretty sure I didn't just dream it up.

Help me, Wizards Community, you're my only hope.

Many of the Valenar use the Mournland as a testing ground to prove their skills. Those who don't return are either dead or have been corrupted. Taer Virduul ("Camp of the Mad") is the community in which these crazed Valenar congregate. It says to apply the Tainted Raver template (Heroes of Horror, page 154) to them, or just assume they have Rage on all the time. They kill, maim, cannibalize, and even wear the skin and bones of their victims. Sounds an awful lot like the Reavers to me!

May 04, 2012 18:30:13 Good catch, E_X. Forge of War was one of the books I didn't pay that much attention to 'cause of how little sense it made to me, as a (low-level) military historian.
