Greetings people,

long time reader, 1st time poster.  Nice to be with you, at last. A small intro: I play D&D since 16 - I am 28 - I enjoy it and love it. I've been DMing one or two sessions and I decided to give it a shot and go for a campaign. In Eberron.

To the point. I've read Temple of the Elemental Evil 1st edition module and I thought to start my campaign with this one, since I am still a rookie. I looked through for a conversion for Eberron world. The only thing I found was

Unfortunately it's now frozen and never completed.

The problem is that this refers to the RETURN to ToEE, which means the events of 1st edition have already taken place. I was wondering if anyone knows a conversion that refers to the old adventure. Or, if not a complete conversion, a part of it maybe.

Thank you in advance and really happy to be with you.

Which edition are you running?  The first party of ToEE, The Village of Hommlet, was converted to 4e and published in Dungeon 212.

I would like to re-open the issue because I am in rather a difficult position atm.

My players ran through the moathouse, and they are returning to Hommlet next session. Any possible change / twist I could apply to the original so that Hommlet fits better in Eberron and its events?

Even better any consistency that someone maybe have already used to merge ToEE with Eberron?

Thank you in advance,

I think you need to provide more information about your campaign if people are going to give useful suggestions.  Where have you placed Hommlet, for instance?  If in the Shadow Marches, link it to the Daelkyr.  If in Thrane, make it a Lords of Dust plot.  Elsewhere, it could be a cult of the dragon below.  As for which national elements have agents in Hommlet, again, that sort of depends on where you are situated.
