| #1rekkoAug 26, 2008 22:03:49 | I have been playing in Eberron for a while now. And I loved it since the beginning. However, there was that one small thing that I didn't quite understand that well. That thing was the Draconic Prophecy. Now, more books have been printed, and thus, more information on the Prophecy and how to use it in my game. However, even after all these information and tips on how to throw parts of the Prophecy to my players, I haven't figured out how to do it. But that time has changed. Lately, I literally fell into the TV show called "Heroes". (Season 1 and 2 are on DVD, season 3 about to start in September on TV) It is a brilliant show, really entertaining. But that is not the matter of this thread. I think, the way the TV show uses Isaac Mendez's painting to reveal parts of the future is exactly how the Draconic Prophecy should be used in any Eberron game. I'm not saying it's the only way, but for me, it just nails it. So, in the near future, there might be a Prophecy related adventure coming up for my players. I just wanted to share my inspiration with the community for those out there who are like me, and are trying to get the Prophecy into their game. And you, how do you use the Prophecy? Rekko |
