May 13, 2011 11:39:55 It's not a find I want to keep to myself, Ogiwan. If Eberron is based on Pulp Action, and Pulp is much much more than just Conan and Sam Spade. Eberron lay claim to be influenced by something that is incredibly diverse.

The Pulp writers are better writers than the writers that are held to be the Great Writers of America. The writer of the Great Gatsby, F. Scott Fitzgerald; can't really hold a candle to L. Ron Hubbard. The man, even though he started a religion that most find way out there, wrote better stories. And I have a small collection of Pulp stories myself -- A collection of Robert E. Howard's Conan Stories in the Anthology "The Coming of Conan the Cimmerian."

By finding this, I was amazed. Romance, Science Fiction, Love Stories, Fantasy, Detective stories, Adventure fiction, sports fiction, Avation fiction -- Pulp Fiction is much more diverse. If Pulp Fiction is one of the major influences, then in the Spirit of Pulp Fiction, you can do anything with Eberron. :D Even love stories.
