[Warning Mass Effect 1 spoilers beyond this point]
Either alow this work, to be continued. And let the bad guy live, thus reviving the Krogan race. The only problem is that they wold be the bad guys slaves so to speak. Most likely twisted into doing something evil. Or kill of the experiments, and ultimately doom the race to eventually vanish.
And that moral dilemma is something I would like to use in my games once. Works best with a Warforged in the party though.
Lets say that the players discovers that the Lord of Blades have nearly figured out how to activate and properly use his creation forge. And the players wish to confront him for something or another. So they make their way towards his base of operations. And discover a bunch of failures and rejects that does not fit the LoBstrs plans. Placed there as mere canonfoder. Will the players leave him to his shenanigans so that he may replenish the ranks of the dying warforged or will they stop him and his insane plans?
As a build up to this the warforged race should face immense prejudice. And it should be made a point about how their numbers are dwindling faster and faster due to aggression from other people, racism, them being mostly warriors etc. Finding a way to replenish them should be a worthy goal.
