Have any of you created a version of the ancient titans(first giants) that used to rule Xendrik. I have had several idea's, but I have never been able to make a decision. If you have complete builds you would not mind sharing that would be welcome, as well as general idea's of what you think the titans would be like. This could include height, weight, CR and so on. All help is welcome. |
| #2PJammaGodNov 14, 2008 21:58:01 | Generally in 3.5e I used the Titan as it was outlined in the MM1.They are large, magical, intelligent, highly resourceful and very highly skilled, which certainly reflects the Titans of legend in Eberron Lore. This is of course before they left Xen'Drik, and apparently cursed the Giants so that each generation would be less than the previous (rather than greater as is the march of progress and civilisation). |

That was my first idea, but unless I wanted to change their chaotic nature I cant see Titans actually having a civilization. I think my other problem was I could not decide how powerful the average "titan" should be. |
| #4PJammaGodNov 15, 2008 6:25:22 | Well remember in Eberron alignments don't necessarily match what is said in the MM. So just remove the chaotic alignment and you've got one magically capable and mobile bad-arse. For extra flavour give them levels in various class such as wizard, sorcerer, divine soul etc etc. I think the Titan as presented in the MM is a great baseline for "the average Titan". I mean they're CR 23, all but the greatest dragons and demons are going to have great difficulty fighting them. |
| #5ieattrollsforbreakfastNov 15, 2008 12:50:46 | Eldritch Giants in the MM3 are a good match, being magically able and fairly high in CR (15 or 25 if you use the pre generated cleric version). Then there's the primordial giant template in Secrets of Xen'drik. |
