Jun 27, 2008 16:47:32 Just curious, but is there any official link between the two? I mean, Incarnum has some kind of role in Eberron, so I would think that ToB would as well.

Jun 27, 2008 16:58:34 As it is meant to be, hobgoblins are the masters of martial arts. So in my campaign, heirs of the Darkaan Empire passes the secrets of the Nine Swords along their bloodline.

Jun 27, 2008 17:03:26 On a somewhat related note maybe.... Eberron's arts on them remind me of the early AD&D1's.... Where they had a notable far eastern warriors feel to them. Which I found cool.

Well a long time ago when ToB was still fresh Keith Baker wrote and Eberron Expanded article and gave it to WotC and it never saw the light of day for some odd reason. So officially there is very little to go on.

In the Adventure Eyes of the Lich Queen the heroes face a Blood of Vol Crusader and James Wyatt said one of his characters in "Storm Dragon" was written with her being a Swordsage in mind, but other than that nothing official.

Still you can find some threads on the subject where we here share our opinions. Sadly most of them have been archived now, but luckily I posted this list once before, so I had the URLs handy.

Jun 28, 2008 3:35:33 I think the Player's Guide to Eberron had something to say on how to incorporate ToB stuff into the setting. Of course, I tend to think of what the Player's Guide to Eberron has to say as more of suggestions than official stuff.

Hobgoblins are a popular source of ToB stuff. Those old threads other posters mentioned are full of good ideas and alternatives.
