| #1aeryk08Feb 11, 2010 12:55:37 | I've been playing with the idea of running a Karnnath campaign having the PCs start as recently created vampire spawn mirroring the White Wolf Dark Ages vampire clans. I'm modifying the vampire spawn class in the Libris Mortis for each clan. I don't want to go vampire crazy here, but I thought it would be interesting to have the 13 clans (minus 1?) represented. Atur seems like a natural spot for the campaign with the naturally limited sunlight. But one city wouldn't be able to support this many vampires, so I thought of spreading the clans out across the country. Here's my ideas of converting the clans. Let me know what you think. Thanks. The main conflict would be The Children of Vol vs. the Children of Kaius. The Children of Vol are much older (chronologically, not necessarily older generation), dating from the time when the elves in Aerenal were hunting down her bloodline. Some of these elves survived and fled to Khorvaire, blending into society both in Karnnath and the dragonmark house of Phiarlan (and now Thuranni). In fact I'm thinking this could be the reason for the split of House Thuranni, supporting the lich Vol. Children of Vol Toreador - House Phiarlan?
