#1 less_than_vince Jul 01, 2010 17:47:02	In the shadow of the last war adventure, the wolf in the Cannith facility, in the mournland, feed on the corpse of the dead worker because, even in dead, thez dotn decompose. Thez even grow their part back. So, do you thing a vampire, who is «good», could feed unpon the corpse in the Mournland??? In a way, if thez can, that means that every vampire could «live» without killing. any thoughts???
#2 durskut Jul 01, 2010 19:52:49	It's an interesting idea and would highly depend on how you interpreted the magic of the Mournland. Personally though, I don't see it happening.  To me, the bodies in the Mournland are dead.  In my mind's eye, vampires require more than just blood for sustenance, they need life essence which is in blood.  If you decide they only need blood to survive, then it's totally plausible.  Interestingly enough, vampires in both 3.5 and 4e are not mechanically dependent on blood or its consumption, so take from that what you want too.
#3 MrCelsius Jul 04, 2010 12:48:14	Of course, if the deal with the bodies in the Mournland is that every cell is still somehow alive without performing the body functions that animate the body (cells are apparently immortal but aren't dividing, aren't making the heart beat, etc), that would make them edible to vampires and be a creepy-as-balls element raising some messed up questions as to the reason the bodies are like this.      Either way, though, Mournland.  I don't think even undead things would get away with eating anything found there without some messed up consequences.
