#1 llazaarprince Mar 26, 2008 13:45:22	Hi guys n gals. I'm just starting an Eberron campaign and have a few questions about the chars that were chosen. I have a Warforged Cleric and wanted to give an alternative chassis Warforged body that didnt carry the Wis penalty. I'm thinking some kind of organic Aerenal wood type that would lower the Con bonus and eliminate the Wis penalty. Any better ideas on how House Cannith would go about designing a 'Forged Cleric? Also I have a Shifter Monk with a Demon Wastes Background. This one presents more problems. First, what kind of feat can one give to a Tainted character? Second, is there something I should keep in mind about a Shifter Drunken Master? And third, how should one go about the Lawful alignment problems that arise with a constantly drunk Monk? I know its a lot and that book X or book Y or Dragon article Z might have this stuff. But help a guy out cuz I just back into D&D after a long hiatus specifically cuz i loved this Eberron campaign and Im buying the books as quickly as my budget allows but Id like to know this stuff before the chars become finalized and we draw first blood and all is etched in stone.

Lawful characters aren't perfect beings who never break the law: they simply believe that following the rules is the best way to go and they'll feel guilty/bad/etc. when they don't. So he could get drunk and break the law, but still feel that he has acted improperly and seek to change his habits. How that conflicts with a Drunken Master I don't know, but it's something they should have addressed when they designed the PrC.

I would let my players have whichever body feat they wanted. For the drunken masters there is no lawful pre req it is even said in the how to become a DM that some barbarians make some good ones. Ahh, I thought it was a monk-only PrC. Good to know.

I think there is some PrC that gives you Flurry of Blows even if you don't have Monk levels, but taking a few levels Monk is probably a good start for this class anyway.
