One curious player of mine is wondering if Warforged can use Symbiont.

i would have to disagree they are living constructs so why wouldnt they be able to attach an organic component to themselves?

Living, in their case, does not mean "organic".

But do the symbionts stipulate that whatever they're attached to has to be organic? IIRC, they only stipulate living. In 3.x, that could mean "Has a Con score", and/or the living construct subtype.

In fact, I think it's a pretty neat idea. A WF that wants to see what it's like to be a fleshy covers himself in symbionts to simulate the experience, not realizing that that's not quite how being a fleshy works. People react in disgust to him, which is severely confusing to him. Add on to that the madness slowly seeping into his psyche from prolonged contact with Xoriat-spawn, and you have a pretty good set-up for a character. Make him a warlock or a sorcerer or a psychic warrior or something and you're ready to go.

EDIT: All of this ignoring any "DM fiat" type arguments, which I figure go without saying.
