so I want to have a cool mini for a potential warforged titan encounter. Well mini being a relative term.
What I want is a bloody intimidating thing that makes my table groan with the extra wheight the figurine will add.
Guaranteed to make all my players start rolling for new stats long before we have started the encounter, and they remember that we use point buy.
You get the gist... Something bloody imposing.
And to that extent, well then the warforged titan miniature from Wizards own house don't really cut it.
They look a bit frail to be honnest. Not quite up to the task of stomping on adventurers.
I have thought about using warjacks from privateer press and their warmachine line of minis.
They tend to look better, but the size could be bigger...
So I found this. This being warmachines greatest beast for now. with the base alone being 120mm or 4 inches wide.
It is everything I could want, well nearly, it would cost me 85.5£ or 140$ or 850 norwegian kroner (crowns).
And that is money I just don't have. So my question to you guys is simple. Do you have an alternative sugestion for what I could use to at least strike a bit of fear into my players before they maul the thing?
You could google that picture of a warforged titan by Ralph Horsley (you will know it when you see it), and project it on your TV screen, or you could do it old school and paint a picture with words. Or both.
I know the Image, it is a great Image, this one is also awesome 
Now where can I find a "miniature" and we use that term loosely now. That inspires that kind of "I'm going to die! youp I'm doomed" feeling...

If you are looking to purchase something, I suggest checking out eBay. They ain't cheap.
Another idea is to buy a 'Pacific Rim' action figure. There are some for sale on Think Geek.

Hmmm right now I'm debating the Warmachine warjack hammersmith and the skylanders giant Crusher. But I cant realy find any size comparisons... Well at least for the giant crusher I can go into the store and bring a mini for comparrison. A bit worse for the warjack... ah well of to do some more digging...
Amazon gives the warjack's dimensions as 7.2 x 4.6 x 2.1 inches. That's 17,78x10,16x5,08 centimeters. Unless that's the box, not the miniature. It looks scarier than the Crusher, but it's unpainted and unassembled.
