Which Warlord specialization would fit each of the five nations?

IMO it would be something like this:

Breland: Bravura
Thrane: Inspirational
Kaarnath: Tactical
Aundair: Inspirational
Mourner: Resourceful

What do you think?

I hadn't thought to break them apart like that. I personally think that each nation would have a varied approach to tactics on the battle field, just like IRL. Flavorwise, those seem to fit, but I could also see justification for most if not all types in each country.

Although I expect you'll find warlords of each type in each of the armies, I guess the cultures are likely to produce a few more of a given build.

Here's how I'd split them up:

Breland: Bravura
Thrane: Inspirational
Kaarnath: Tactical
Aundair: Resourceful
Cyre: Resourceful

Since Aundairs armies use plenty of magic, their tactics may be more unusual than the more conventional martial ones. Also, use of magic can be highly unpredictable. For those reasons, I think resourceful warlords fit the best.

i was coming up with a character that was goin' to be the son of a Karn warlord. he was goin to be a tactical warlord at first but then i decided i wanted a fighter using a halberd in plate. i always thought of Brelish officers as inspirational but that sounds good too. i kinda figured Aundairian officers to busy bein' wizards and sorcerers to worry 'bout warlord class features.lol

WELL...

Breland has Boranel (Bravura) and the Dark Lanterns (Tactical)
Aundair has got to deal with mages (so resourceful is the main tactic) and the Royal Eyes (again, Tactical)
Cyre had a lot of mages too (resourceful) but also had the most... inspirable people with all that artistic stuff (so I can easily imagine them inspirational or bravura, great for casters to get extra shots)
Karnath can easily be imagined to be Tactical.
And Thrane is all about resisting in the name of the Silver Flame (inspirational)

I don't know about the rest, but in the case of Thrane, I think their warlord would be a Cleric. :P

perhaps each nation would tend toward a specific class over another. i can think of any arcane leaders besides the articer and the bard... perhaps those are what Aundair would employ. and what about the Reacher and what about the goblins. perhaps a shaman for the Reacher? i see the Valenar making even use of bards warlords and clerics, same for their Aereni cousins. the Aereni clerics seem more like devotees than battle priests. they would also use more tactical warlord than the Valenar.
