Were Titans still used in the Last War?

I know that 965-979 were the years the warforged began to rise rapidly in numbers in armies across the Five Nations. From the book though:

"Of the four hundred titans built from 959 to 964, only seventy-nine were still operating in 965. This depletion was partly a function of their experimental form, but House Cannith also noticed that the titans were nearly always placed at the hottest and deadliest points of any engagement. Both Breland and Cyre requested that the titans be scaled down and made more reliable."

Were titans still used after this? Maybe as shock troopers? Tanks?

I would think so. A titan is vastly more effective than a warforged and could take down entire troops given Eberron's level.

Yeah think of Warforged as elite navy seal type units well a Titan is a tank. Warforged operate on their own, were cheaper, adaptable and Titans need a handler. Still Titans could turn opposing units (not just soldiers) into mush.

Not to mention that a titan could breach walls or scale them to get at the defenders inside of fortifications. Mind you, that might explain the 300+ casualties in a five year span.

If I were a commander, I'd use them. 'All I'm saying.

Seconded, General Grug.

Can you imagine one of those Titans banging on the walls of Fort Bones, sending Karrnathi Zombies and Skeletons flying? People were wary of Cyre's army (they relied heavily on warforged), Titans were the siege weapons that could follow orders. It's one thing to load a ballista, it's another to tell the balista to crush anything that looks like it's flesh is falling off. They weren't like warforged, they couldn't adapt on the fly. But it's a step up from what we have even in today's modern warfare.

But there was a second one that I can't seem to find, maybe one of the posters from that thread have also posted in that second thread.

I was thinking, if Warforged Titans were used in the war, surely there was some sort of striking team that were trained to destroy them. What could it be made of?

Well there is always monsters from Droam... they were after all rented out to some extent during the last war.
