Quori of the current age are the stuff of the worst nightmares, alien, disturbing and frightening. The previous quori could look more like what you would find in a "good" (non-nighmare) dream: familiar faces, people you know, etc. They could take the appearance of known people, or friends or family, while still being readily recognizable as "dream figures", as their goal would be to offer a reassuring face, not to deceive. Just as you always know when you're dreaming, you would always see that "it's Haergal, but not really."
#3 zodar0 May 26, 2008 14:42:07	That's what I was thinking as well, reassuring dream-like figures, rather than nightmarish ones. Accordingly, perhaps their features should be a bit blurry and undefined?

#7 missekat May 26, 2008 15:28:07	I haven't got that many ideas on the quori themselves.. but for inspiration on landscapes and mechanics of the "old Dal Quor", try reading this webcomic: 9thelsewhere Apart from being a good read, (but a slow updater), its welldrawn and has given me a lot of good ideas.
