So i want to know who you guys want to become the leader of Cannith.

For those how do not know House Cannith it divided in to 3 "groups". THe 3 are Cannith South, Cannith West and Cannith East.

each one has it own Baron altought the house is still one.

South is leaded by Merrix d'Cannith (grandson of the First Merrix and grandnephew of the last Patriarch. He is younger then the other two and has the weakest claim). He rules form sharn and his outpost ans enclaves are all over the south of coast. He is much better an artificer then the other two and Cannith South has the last creation forge. But Merrix creates lilegal warforged wit it.

Jarlanna d'Cannith rules West Cannith. She is in her fifties and is the daughter of the second wife of the last Patriarch. SHe has many allies with the Twelve. Thanks to her West Cannith HAs been able to reserch the ruins in Eldeen Reaches. She has made Cannith West one of the most social of all the Dragonmarked houses. But she is not trusted by the Elders of Cannith house because she fell in love and rumored to have a baby with an Deneith heir when she was young (baby was never found) and she is have a relationship with and Orien (real a demon).

Zorlan d'Cannith has a eye for talent and money but is cold and cruel. He is the cousin of the has leader of House Cannith. He created Cannith East form one small out post in korth to a power house. He is a worshiper of the blood of Vol and he and the other of Cannith East see Undead like Warforged.

Well their you go for people do not know any thing about it
and Edymnion i hope you are happy

Honestly, I think Cannith West has the best chance.

Merrix isn't interested in unifying the House, he just wants to be left alone to do his own thing. While he's in the position to accumulate the most power, he is, IMO, the least likely to try and use it.

Cannith East has the whole Blood of Vol thing against it. Kaius is too opposed to the Blood to accept a House Cannith run by a Blooder. Vol would likely be very interested in helping place him in the chair of authority, but thats the sort of thing that usually gets thwarted by a bunch of upstart PCs. ;)

That leaves Cannith West. The key to being the one that "wins" is to be the one that everybody else accepts as the winner. You can claim victory in your own house all you want, but if none of the other houses recognizes your authority, you're not going to get anything done. By focusing more on getting the other houses in line behind her, Jarlanna is virtually assuring her success.

Edy, you answered the question with the problem. And yet, were 100% correct.

i have to say that you are right. Cannith West as a lot of allies and they have a better face then the other two (members of Cannith south are starting to worship one of the dark six) so i think that haveing a demon that has some control is much better then Vol have totaly control useing Zorlan or have the Cannith south members runing aournd worshiping think with Merrix in his little forge not careing about anything.

Yes, unlike the Thuranni/Philarian split, this one was not intentional, and was very recent. Everybody is still working under the assumption that the house will pull back together.

Its entirely possible though that the fracture may be permanent, and that there could be multiple great houses with the Mark of Making in the future, just like there are multiple great houses with the Mark of Shadows now.
