I'm working on a new Sorcerer variant for Eberron. This is is what I have so far:

I've updated the PDF, correcting some spell errors and explaining my design a little more.

It seems interesting enough, but it doesn't really stand out enough for me. When I read the OP I was hoping it was going to be something like the old Dragonmarked sorcerer they had in print dragon for 3.5 edition.

Also I don't know about the whole random channeling thing. I'd much rather focus on one of the primordial dragons, but that's just me.

I liked the dragonshards as an implement. tho I was thinking why not use the augmented ones too?

No problem. I based the random channeling on the Sorcerer from Arcane Powers who had three phases. I thought, three phases, three dragons, hmm.

If you don't like the phasing, choose one Aspect, and stick to it.

I chose un-augmented shards to keep it simple. Its not so much the shard increasing the bonus of the implement, as the sorcerer growing in skill and power and learning to channel more power through the shard.
