#1 Elton74 Nov 04, 2008 12:01:00	I thought this idea was a good idea. Writing short stories to help your players become immersed into the world. Who first suggested it?

I'm pretty sure that plenty of people have had that idea seperatly. But by all means, its a great idea if you have the time. It will most likely help your players get into the game. And on a secondary note, what has this to do with Eberron?

As to the fiction question: Wouldn't you say that the first published campaign setting be considered writing fiction so that the players can become immersed in the campaign world?
#5 oid Nov 06, 2008 18:11:06	that's a very important part of character creation with my group. alot of the time a character may be thrown out if a good story can't be crafted around it.(sometimes we're lazy:embarrass ) but, i find usin' stories helps a whole lot in role playin'. so, yeah. it's a great idea, it fits you group.

I actually think that would be the Eberron equivalent of "chicken and the egg" in our world. Never had I thought that a random thread of silly could give new insight into "serious" matters...

Thinking of someone in range can provoke an attack of opportunity, and yes you can aid another and think for them - but then they will get -2 to thinking on their own until the start of their next character.
