I will submit some ideas but anyone can post ideas for anything Xen'drik enough to challenge PCs.![]() An interesting mount idea for the scorpion clans. It is a large monstrous scorpion with a fly speed of 60 ft. (average). Used for elite hunters, who are usually 7-11th level. :invasion: One of my group got MMV and I was surprised to see the Kuo-toa entry. It said in Eberron the Kuo-toa worship the Dragon Below. I got some inspiration. The Underclaw is an organization of Kuo-Toa who support the Dragon's will throughout Xen'drik. They target anyone who comes within their territory. They live in the caverns beneath The Hydra River. They use advanced tentacle spiders as mounts and their main enemies are anything other than themselves who do not revere the Dragon Below. Their primary enemies are Shadar-Kai clans that live beneath the surface. The Underclaw commonly associates with dolgaunts and dolgrims and other powerful aberrant allies. An Underclaw enclave is led by a preacher who is typically a cleric of The Dragon Below of 8-10th level. An idea revolving around refugee kalashtar: A long, long time ago (circa 815 YK) when the invasions of Adar were still at their height, a group of Kalashtar in a hidden sacred city by the mountains bordering Riedra were nearly slaughtered by a surprise attack conducted by the Inspired. Fleeing desperately, the most powerful psion of the community concentrated all of his power to save the Kalashtar by teleporting them somewhere safe. Instead, through some mishap, they were teleported to the Menechtarun. The group traveled through the endless desert until they found a ruin of an ancient civilization. Deciding to rest there untli they found something. They had accidently traveled into a Behir nest. When the behirs figured out about their new neighbors they tried to frighten them away. One of the bravest young kalashtar instead tried to negotiate with them, agreeing to share local hunting in exchange for a place to live. Together, they rebuilt the ruin into a small refugee community with the behirs as the gaurdians. Soon, the group of behirs grew and grew as more moved into the ruin. Soon the Kalashtar group grew as well when bhuka tribes moved in. Soon, the once barely-thriving refugee camp was a splendrous city built of ancient wonder. Then, a council was formed and the city was named Shath Khet, meaning "sand cloak" in Quor. One of the council proposed to have the city be driven by behirs as a mobile city that could use magic shields so the behors could burrow. This would keep them from the growing presence of the Inspired. Shath Khet is now thriving city with the likes of all sorts of races. It is quite unknown to the general population. It is known for being home to a large number of exiles and wanted outlaws. |
