| #1Mr._WilsonSep 09, 2010 5:30:36 | I've been thinking about this recently as it ties in to my campaign. AFAIK, there is no established date for Boranel's birth (please correct me if I'm wrong, I'd appreciate it). We know for a fact that King Boranel ascended to the throne in 961, and that prior to that he was a succesful treasure hunter in Xen'drik. Taking into account most campaigns are set in 998, that means Boranel has reigned for somewhere near 37 years. One could logically claim that Boranel's adventuring career took place sometime between the ages of 17-30. The new book suggests for the first time Boranel is starting to show his age. All this taken into consideration, that puts Boranel as between 54 and 67. I think I peg him as closer to seventy then to his mid fifties, but what is your best guess? |

'Showing his age' might just be in relation to what the average person might expect from someone in their fifties. |
