Part of a pair of character I'm working on for a larger scene, so giving 'em individual renders too
(it does involve the Realms, you'll see)

Eladrin = 4th ed, hence the eyes ;)
This character also has warlock abilities (multiclass) hence the rod.

Love it, especially her hairstyle. This might be my favorite picture so far.

Ten pounds of pure awesome here!... Question, do you take requests and, if not, do you plan to make a male Eladrin Swordmage?

Crownhunter,
cheers!

Um, I havne't done commisions till nowbecause, honeslty, stress is like sugar to a diabetic, very bad mojo, so I've just pottered away at my own stuff (as no expectations, so less stress).
I did this one for free as a challenge/fun, not with any commercial interests or trouting for business. I just love doign D&D art

So just a word of warning, if I *did* one for you, I cannot guarantee completion (health's been lo better for some months, but it is an issue) and if it was completed, I'd like recompensed for my time. K?
(cause artists out there get paid for such work and nto wanting to cut into their pie, and well...it costs me a TON for all the props I buy etc :p also uses up my time I'd like to make Spelljammer or Dark Sun art)

If still interested send me a PM, with full description etc, setting etc

Note, I can only make what I *have* in my "toolkit"...which is very big but I can't make everything. So it will be an approximation.
Changing clothing colours isn't too much bother, for instance, but making a very specific suit of armour is a no-no :D

Great pictures. If you've no objection, I'll take a copy to pass to a friend of mine who's playing an Eladrin swordmage in my home game. I think she'll like them.

I do have a criticism, though. The sword looks rather short, about the length of the woman's arm. It may be that you meant it as a shortsword, or I might be misreading the perspective, but it needs to be a bit longer for a longsword or something of similar length.

Bluenose,
fine by me, art's for sharing!
*avoids politicla debate on that and realities of a digital epoch*

Aye it is about 6 to 8 inches inches shorter than a "standard" longsword", but I liked it ;) she is at an angle remember.
Forget name of that length of/style blade, sure I've seen reference to it.

Anyway, swordmages can use magic/defence spells to get inside the reach, block etc, and she's lightly built, so better for her, IMHO.
