| #318DELTAMay 07, 2008 6:29:00 | -I thought the Article was ok. Second Edition had Weapon groups IIRC. Also Arcana Unearthed had Weapon Groups. So I be Familiar with the concept.![]() 18D;) |

I once tried to use the rule form Unearthed Arcana, but after any member of the party (with two fighters, a ranger, and a paladin, among others) could use a magical mace they found, I desisted. That rule gave you too few proficiencies... Then I gave the normal weapon proficiencies for class, and when choosing specific weapon feats (Weapon Focus, Improved Critical, etc.) then I used weapon groups. |

| #7DiffanMay 15, 2008 17:50:41 | Reach: With a reach weapon, you can attack enemies that are 2 squares away from you as well as adjacent enemies, with no attack penalty. You can still make opportunity attacks only against adjacent enemies. Likewise, you can flank only an adjacent enemy. wow, that's handy. No more waisting feats just to choke up on the length of a spear/glaive/guisarme. |
