I cannot make it but I figured somebody should start it.

The first Saturday of March is the first.

(BTW whetever happened to Blibbering Humdinger anyone know?)

So if we do start a campaign are we doing 4E? :P
#2

msatran

Feb 08, 2008 15:19:52
Absolutely not. I don't think that meets the desires of the current campaign base.
#3

markustay63

Feb 08, 2008 16:08:35
Why don't we get a head start on everyone else, and start playing in 5e? :P
#4

msatran

Feb 08, 2008 19:24:46
By the time we reach 5th edition, everything will be done in Hero System.

-Hey, hey, I'm the Grand Overlord...I make the threads. Want me to break out my army of robots designed to smite? Didn't think so...

-But, that asides, I like the idea, and have mentioned it in the past that we have meetings the first saturday of the month. So, if March 1 is the first saturday of the month, than March 1 it is.

-Is this good with everyone who has it within their power to attend?

I really, really want to attend.

When did you become a follower of Gond with those Robot armies Karsus? Or are you gating in warforged from Eberron? :D

Yes I was pretty sure we had discussed the first of the month as being a good time to set as "the date", keep consistency for the meetings.

-Karsus the Mad has an infatuation with Gond. Gond gave him a whole bunch of outdated Gondsmen in exchange for some of his multispheric famous burritos.

You guys have me thinking...Starbucks and burritos, perfect together. Youch, extra heat enhancement, but still ok.

Thanks again, LK, for the gift--it worked fine, and it's copied to my hard drive. I can bring it next time in case anyone's having trouble with their copy, since I know this one is good. Stayed up way past my bedtime Friday reading the material contained therein, very cool stuff.

Hope people can make it on March 1st, see you then!

Aside from that little 'thing' I was looking for, how many other goodies were on the CD?

Anyway, it doesn't look like I'll make this one, but hopefullly I'm up for the next one.

What else was on the CD? Maybe I will try to burn something if I can make it in April, don't want to make duplicates though if sourcebooks are already on the last one handed out...

Feb 21, 2008 11:21:40
Considering how much I've downloaded from Paizo in the last year, I could probably fill a few DVDs. :D

Of course... that would be illegal... and I would NEVER contemplate such a thing...

-Uh, guys...Do you think we could change the date of out meeting, to maybe Friday night, or Sunday night? Something important just came up, and I'm not going to be availible Saturday night.
#28

Feb 26, 2008 22:31:17
Friday Night is way better than Sunday. I have (Gasp) financial homework to do on Sunday. This should be the first session of the game, so I'll need at least backgrounds before we start.

Feb 27, 2008 11:37:54
Friday night? Put me down for it--I don't think I'm doing anything that night.

I think I have a rough idea of what character I'm going to play--put me down as a female half-elven bard.

Feb 27, 2008 11:43:16
-Alright, so everyone's good for Friday night, then. That's good. This Friday, 7 PM, same Starbucks...Awesome.

-I'll bring my character, too, so we can go over basics/whatever.

OK, so then, what time and can I get the address? If I can make it Id be coming from South Jersey
#37

msatran

Feb 27, 2008 13:28:47
Yeah. The size of the game WILL be limited (To about 5 at most) I can't run for the entire universe, but once we do chargen (Which should be this time, and not take that long), those who make it should be able to make it every time, and I should be able to fit that game into everyone's busy schedule.

D+D is a spectator sport. I love being watched when I run, as long as there aren't too many interruptions.

-7 PM, this Friday (the 29th), at Starbucks in Florham Park. There's only one, so you can Mapquest it.

Yeah. -Keep in mind, we're going to keep D&D and the NJFRCC meetings seperate. They are going to mix this week, but I want to keep things seperate, so other people, as Keryth just demonstrated, and DMD projects to, come by from time to time and hang out. We can discuss this all further on Friday, though.

Shoot, I've been away from the boards a few days, so missed the change in date. I probably won't be able to make it this time, due to a death in the family (somewhat expected, and a big part of why I couldn't stay and had to get home so early last time). I still have John's book, so in the unlikely event that I do get a chance to get out, I'll swing by with that and hang out for a little while.

In case that doesn't happen, hope it's a good crowd and a good game! See you all next time!

Guys: I'm going to try to come tonight. However, I am hearing now that it might snow, and I'm not sure what the extent of that might be.

I'm not sure if I'd want you all to wind up driving through snow and ice, either (you guys have farther to drive than I do, after all...).

Hey, LK and RF, thanks for the condolences, they are much appreciated. And glad to hear the four of you made it despite the weather--it was slippery out there!

I'm not going to be the one to start the 5th-meeting thread, as I have never, even for a moment, become a god. ;) But what do you think, April 5th?

No, the Spellplague didn't get me. But an unexpected foray into a Wild Magic zone resulted in a random planar portal opening up right where I happened to be a plunging me into a strange island city called Fortuna, where I met a trenchcoat-wearing, gun-toting swordsman with a cheesy sense of humor. His name's Nero, and his game rocks. ^_^

Anyway, I'm back. I'm using a different screen name because I, uh, sent my password reset request from the wrong account, apparently, and this one had an account set up for it that I'd obviously forgotten. So yeah, this is Blibbering. I'll see about getting my old account back when I'm feeling a bit less lazy.

Alas, I can't make it to any meetings at the mo'. Working five days a week from five to eleven. Kinda sucks. Sunday and Wednesday are my only off days. Still at Wal-Mart. Want to quit, but can't afford to.

I'm still in the heat of Devil May Cry 4 fever, so I'm a bit more interested in that at the moment anyway. But when I've beaten that game to a pulp, I have a copy of The Annotated Elminster on my desk just waaaaaiiiiiting to be read...

details?
#64

johnkretzer

Mar 09, 2008 23:35:36
details?

as of the last time I heard:

Rino is making a half-elf bard.

Lord Karsus is playing a sorcerer rogue type character.

Msatran is I think playing a ranger...

And I will be playing a cleric...I have yet choosen a god as of yet. It is a toss up between Tyr, Red Knight, and a outside contender of Eldath(The problem with a Eldath worshipper is it is hard to do as I really don't know how Rino and Lord Karsus will react to such a character). I am probably leaning towards the Red Knight at this point...but another god might catch my eye...so if anybody has any suggestions I am all ears.

Sounds like an interesting game! I, as usual, am a definite maybe for this one. Things at home are still getting back to whatever normal is, but I'm hoping to make it--and maybe finally get to stay for a while!

Anyway, I'll give a more definite answer soon. But now at least the thread is bumped so everyone else can see it. ;)
