To summarise in my game Irvel is being backed by Kas [with out Irvel knowing it yet] so that he will go too war with Thay. Erzoued knows that someone has secretly brought all his schemes too a halt [knowing it wasn't anyone from cormyr since he hasn't been put on trial]. He knows enough to know he is out of his league. So who does he turn too? He's too unimpotant for thay too care what he has too say.

Once again, allow me to give it a go. He has to turn to a deity for aid? It couldn't be an Archdevil or the like? Well, I'd say he'd probably be best going with Bane. It's not a perfect match, but Bane encourages conquest and political might. And Bane has his alliance with Szass Tam. Alternatively, if you consider Asmodeus a deity, he might do the same. He has similar values to Bane, he would love to add another soul to his hoard, devils are infamous for information and contracts, and Asmo has no pact with Thay's regent.

Allow me too clarify abit theres a practical reason that i chose too ally him with a god. I wanted too ally him with a group of avengers and bring the pantheon into play. Storyline wise i'm using him too unwittingly unleash hell. As for Kas he's playing the classic enemy of my enemy role at this point and is double billed as a corrupter. Sorry i should have mention that. Oh and the unnamed vampire his pratical roll is as a decoy as i set up the main event. Wich is either hell on toril or open war with szass tam, Depending on the players skill.

-So, basically, someone in the shadows is manipulating circumstances in the hopes of starting a war? Gargauth or Garagos both sounds appropriate (Gargauth more so).

Forgot about Gargauth. Damn you, information void of 4E FR! Well, assuming Gargauth is still around in your realms, OP, add him to my list. He's a more down-to-earth version of Asmodeus. More willing to lend his aid, less aid to lend.

"My" version of Erzoured Obarskyr is a warlord/invoker of Cyric and Shar.

He started as a warlord but was "touched by madness" in some batrachi ruins near Eveningstar and subsequently turned to Cyric. This prompted the multiclass to invoker. Shar has also made overtures to him as well.

I should try and stat him up soon and post the results here.

Here's a first cut that obviously needs some work (frex, I should spell his surname correctly and some basic design faults but easily fixed).

-A good guy to involve in plots and intrigue.
