Well to start, spoiler alert to anyone who hasnt played Murder in Baldurs Gate so quit reading now if you dont want anything ruined. Anyways, the past 10-12 weeks I've went to my local game store to join my group through this campaign. Since we played at a store at a preset time and day of the week (wednesdays at 7) all the players of my group couldn't always make it and our party varied, staying consistent with 3 of us. Those 3 included my friend Moose, who played as Riku, and later the gnome wizard Bigg-E. Justin who played as Viktor, the human paladin, and myself, (Brendon) Aramil, the eledrin cleric. Our DM was a guy named Vince, or as we call him, Tank.

Our first night started with us 3 and a friend named Cory who played a dragonborn. Though annoying but interesting, Baldurs Gate as a city doesnt allow un-human like races such as dragonborns. So entering the city was (not implying to be racist) like being arabian in an airport terminal post 9-11. Through sheer luck, we managed to get our dragonborn friend into the city. From there we entered the wide, or the marketsquare of baldurs gate. We spent a bit of time checking out all of the exotic goods before turning our attention to what seemed like an army of soldiers gaurding the stage at one end of the wide. (I'm a somewhat newer player and exact names I cant remember from most sessions so please understand) After a speech from the praised leader of baldurs gate, Abdel, assassin's striked from the 2nd stories of the buildings around us. As the innocent bodies started dropping around us, we sprang into action. After taking (I believe 9) out most of them, I located and snuck up into then behind the last assassin (yes I know, weird for a cleric) and pulled out a dagger I aquired from the market earlier, and sliced the assasins head off, which started an odd addiction of decapitating enemies. I rose out the window holding the head high as I let out a grand speech (it was awesome) to the citizens still struck with fear, letting them know who our party was (we named ourselves the vaulthunters based on cory's suggestion), demanded respect from the city, and respect to Cory being a dragonborn, in return for their protection, then I ended it with the vaulthunters battle cry,  AYYY-OOHHH!

I cant remeber exact details, ut followig this was a duel between Abdel and some guy, who after Viktor slain, turned into a giant blood ooze beast. Being an eledrin, I can teleport as an encounter power, so I used this to my advantage. Torwards the end of the fight, I teleported on top of the best and began to sink into him (purposely) and used one of my moves that was a burst of radiant light, well, I rolled a 1 on my attack roll. Our party decides to keep things creative and interesting, so I basically nearly died, got blasted to the other side of the wide prone, and lost my eyesiht and ability to talk.  I forgot to mention that before the abdel duel that cory had to go home for some reason so there were only 3 of us. We barely broght the monster to its death and found abdel dead. Afterwards Tank broght each of us aside one by one and told us a certain person wants us to meet them somewhere at a certain time. I guess this already was a longer thread than I thouht itd be all together. If anyones interested for more just reply and ill post more. Let me know what you think! Hope its allright so far.
