Jun 02, 2009 9:21:33 hi folks,

sorry if this is an inappropriate forum for this... but i am looking to make an adventure in arabel (cormyr). could someone please suggest some setting information or relevant articles? I have been looking around and all i can find is neverwinternights settings.

my campaign will be a ghost in the shell type set in the city using the purple dragon scouts as a elite group

There are a couple of scribes there that are 'Cormyr experts'.

Cormyr
Four From Cormyr
The Forgotten Realms Campaign Setting
Volo's Guide to Cormyr

-There are a bunch of other books that Arabel gets mentions in, but the above books cover the city in depth. Four From Cormyr can also be downloaded for free as a .PDF file from the WotC website.

Jun 02, 2009 11:43:34 -Yeah, thank you. WotC has a "disclaimer" that they periodically make things unavailable and/or upload new things. Going on, what? Six years that I know of now, nothing has changed. Being as that WotC has gotten finicky with .PDF files recently, though, I'd download them all just because they're free and could theoretically be gone tomorrow.

Jun 03, 2009 22:13:21 Four from Cormyr is a great supplement. I ran two of the adventures from it and they were excellent. One I modified a bit but still really fun to play.

Jun 06, 2009 9:49:13 -The novels The Siege, Night Parade, and Shadowdale, also feature in some way Arabel, as well as the short story in Realms Of Valor "A Virtue By Reflection".
