#1 Coolplayer May 24, 2010 20:47:08	Hello and welcome to the brainstorming thread, designed to help yours truly with adventures/dungeons/etc for an epic level game I'm currently running.  Feel free to be as detailed as you wish in your idea (maps, etc) and we can exchange ideas, etc!!!  So here we go.  I'll start with the first post!  EPIC NPC VILLIAN DM Information:  Basically an NPC that I made that can be used for an epic level campaign.  Suitable to combat against Lvls 1-16 (Impossible, Very Challanging, or Challanging as the PC's progress) or 18-21 with some challange as well.  Best in a group of his own hirelings backing him up, or perhaps a monster he has dominated himself in his past adventures.  Do with him as you will! Name:  Whatever you want it to be! Race:  Human Level:  20 Class:  Warmage (Complete Arcan base class) Abilities:  STR:  20  DEX:  20  CON:  14  INT:  20  WIS:  18  CHA:  28 HD:  20D6 +40 INITIAVIE:  +9 SPEED:  30 Feet AC:  32 (Armor +10, Nat +3, Dex +5 Def +4)  TCH:  18  FF:  25 BA/G:  +10/+5 ATT:  +19 (Weave Cutter:  Shortspear +4 of Returning, Spell Storing, and Speed) FULL ATT:  +19/+19/+14/+9 (1d6+11 (20X2+Hold Person CL20th)) SPACE/REACH:  5ft/20ft (Spear) SAttks:  None/Spells SAVES:  Fort:  8  Ref:  11  Will:  16 SKILLS: Concentrate:  26  Intimidate:  33  Knowledge (Arcana):  29  Spellcraft:  29  Tumble: 26 Bluff: 20 FEATS:   Improved Initative, Combat Casting, Quicken Spell, Fortify Spell, Blind Fight, Split Ray, Sculpt Spell GEAR:  Shortspear +4 of Returning, Spell Storing, & Speed Cloak of Charisma +5 Headband of Intellect +4 Amulet of Natural Armor +3 **Elven Mail of Freedom (+5 Chainmail made from mithril, no dex restriction, light weight, continuous Freedom of Movement (CL 20th) Ring of Spell Storing, Major Ring of Protection +4 **Gloves of the Heart Piercer:  Gives Greater Weapon Specialization Feat w/peircing weapons     On Critical hit, Fort Save DC 20 + users charisma mod or slain (-10 hp) 2/day Boots of Dexterity +4 Rod of Spell Absorbtion Assign spells and etc for a 20th level warmage (in complete arcane) and your done!!!  Comments or questions appreciated and welcome!!!  Also don't forget the flavor if he's going to be used.  I've got some for the guy but it should go along with your campaign
#2 ukplayerx May 26, 2010 14:07:39	Here's one: It's (insert day/night) and real life has prevented you from preparing ANYTHING. You have two choices - cancel or fudge it!! NOW if it's the start of the campaign here's what you do: www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/mwa/ar... quickly draw up/printout a tavern/inn bar - use Enemies and Allies for any NPC's BAR ROOM BRAWL!!! (this has worked!!) Of course if you've already started a campaign, i suggest you admit the truth and cancel :D
