I am starting this thread to give a possibilty to describe thing in more detail that they left out....anybody can join in. Hopefuly if nothing else it would be a funcreative excersise and might give people some ideas...and here is my 1st one comments are also welcome:

The Truth Behind Tyr's Death:

It starts durig the Time of trouble...the scene is Tantras anad Torm and Bane are fighting. Torm kills Bane andwell absobed a little of Bane into himself and the perfect loyal servant got ambition....

(I also thinking of having him start the duel between Helm and Tyr in this alt.)

Fast forward to the force of evil assult on the Heavens. Tyr lies wounded but will live till Torm comes along. He bend over to 'treat his lord's injuries. And whispers, "I am servant no more" and kills Tyr. And annouce's himself Lord of the House of the Triad.

Illmater who suspecta moves back to find out the truth...Torm is plotting to kill him.

Anyway just a cool little plot twist I have thought of.

-You dare paint Torm as some kind of villain!? :fight!:

-An interesting angle. That the paladin realm of Eltargund (Sp?) is teetering very close to a despotic realm gives this a little more credence, with Bane and his tyranny creeping in there.

Corellion Saves The People

With the Spellplague ensuing and knowing magic as his people knew it was changing, Corellion aids his people in protecting their lands, reinforcing Mythals, closing the gap between the world and the Feywild and jaunting some of their lands to keep them safe.

You think so, huh? :P

I'm a bit confused about the upper realms part, though. Are we talking upper realms as in "Astral Dominions", or are we talking upper realms as in "Upper Realms", I.E. northern parts of Faerun? It does fit a bit, though, when talking about areas like The Great Dale, with frequent demonic activity.

It might have been a mistake on my part but didn't Tyr die protecting the Upper planes from evils assult? I read it some place...(I had to returned my loaned copy so I can't check it)

Here's the exact quote:

(who perished decades ago when defending the upper realms against an overwhelming demonic incursion).

I'm just wondering what they mean by "upper realms", as I said above. If they mean the astral sea, or the northern parts of Faerun.

The Truth Behind Cyric and Everything He Does:

You poore Cyric nevr killed Leira...he has been sitting in his throne room all this time thinking he has...and every other action the killing of Mystra, etc have all been illusions created by Leira to punish this upstart for the gaul of trying to kill her. She is waiting for the best time to drop the illusion to take away his ultinmate victory.

Well yeah as in the upper realms in the astral soup(I like that nickname for it). The upper Realms being the domains of good deities and such. I really don't see Tyr dieing in a skirmish on the prime material(is it still called that?)

Well, it could also be a reference to the upper parts of the Realms, I.E. Faerun. As for dying on the world/prime material, why not? Wouldn't be the first time he's duked it out, there. Case in point, the Procession of Justice.

And as I mentioned, the Great Dale, along with Narfell, Impiltur, Damara, and Vaasa see frequent demonic activity. And they can certainly be defined as the "upper realms".

I agree it is possible but a death protecting the upper Realms(the good domains) from a epic assult is worthy of his death. I mean if the forces of evil take over the a part of the Realms it is recoverable(it happened in Greyhawk)...if the forces of evil take over and destroy all the gods of good it would be near impossible to recover from that(though it is a good Campaign world based on that call Midnight).

Well, if we're talking about giving Tyr a worthy death, I wouldn't call "getting ganked by Torm who somehow morphed into Starscream" a fitting end. :P That'd be like having Optimus Prime slit Alpha Trion's throat in War Dawn in order to get his hands on the Matrix of Leadership.

Besides, it is a pretty worthy death, and in keeping with his history. He's fought across Faerun before, in the Procession of Justice, where he led 200 Archons across the Vilhon Reach, during which time he was also joined by Torm and Ilmater. Then we have the Triad Crusade which, while he wasn't personally there, involved an army of Triad worshippers going to Impiltur to fight in the Fiend Wars. So we know that Tyr's already invested in staving off demonic incursions in that area.

Now imagine things after the Spellplague. Chaos everywhere, magic out of control, nations in turmoil, armed forces depleted, etc. Then a vast demonic horde begins an incursion into Faerun. What could stop them at that point? Odds are, nothing. No one would be able to mount a defense, which means that all of Faerun is doomed to fall. That's not just a setback, that's a catastrophe! The gods are barely hanging on by their fingernails at that point, as a demon horde is ready to march across Faerun and kill all their worshippers. What else could Tyr do but lead a host of angels down to fight them? IMO, the stakes seem pretty high there, as well.

Damn shame Rich still isn't around, though, as I'd love to ask him what they meant by upper realms. And of course, you may be right. Not to say that Tyr leading his host of angels against demons invading Mount Celestia or other astral dominions isn't a heroic scene, too. I just think that, in this case, this particular passage is open to dual interpretations.

What I think the "upper realms" and Tyr's death refers to are the events that will be played out in The Fractured Sky: The Empyrean Odyssey, Book 2 and possibly Book 3.

"What brings a demon to the gates of heaven?

The half-fiend Kaanyr Vhok finally arrives at the destination he has sacrificed so much to achieve--he is in the heart of Celestia with his lover and consort, the succubus Aliisza. Only to find that the House of the Triad is falling apart, and he is bound by a vengeful Aliisza and a renegade angel into trying to save it--not exactly the goal he had in mind.

The second full-length novel in The Empyrean Odyssey, The Fractured Sky continues to follow War of the Spider Queen favorites Aliisza and Kaanyr Vhok as the pair of fiends struggle to escape the heart of a deeply troubled Celestia while bound to a particularly determined angel".

I had the idea that Mask (as Godsbane) faked Leiras death so she could lay low then help the god of thieves with his main plot against Cyric and Shar.
When she is back in the open and retains her Illusion schtick she will be a lesser goddess or exarch working for Mask. This will soften Masks evil side a bit and build his powerbase. (man I hate how gods are always in conflict with each other and here I am coming up with ideas based on the thing I am sick of. )

Corellon Saves The People

Corellon knew change was in the air. For weeks or even months he knew. This lurking feeling deep in his guts that something, something bad, was about to befall his chosen people. Day by day it was getting worse, closer and closer, yet all his attempts to divine the cause of this foreboding escaped him.

Just knowing that something was about to befall his people, Corellon gathered the Seldarine to prepare for whatever was to come. Through visions and proxy's they sent warnings to the elves, vague though they may be, in an attempt to have them ready to face this dark time that was fast approaching.

Even forewarned, none were prepared for the spellplague and it's devastation on the world. Like the rest of Toril, the elves were thrown into turmoil and chaos. Many lost their lives, lands or worse by the death of Mystra.

Corellon, startled by the event and having to use a considerable amount of power to stabilize his own realm, was nevertheless fast to act on behalf of his people. Through the Elves, he orchestrated circles of High Magic not seen since the Sundering. Together, with the aid of their Deity, the Cleric's and High Magi of the Elves are able to strengthen the protective magic of their lands and turn aside most of the effects of the spellplague.

Working hard to allow his people's magic to work despite the failing of the weave, Corellon is unable to stop his realm as it, along with all planes, shifts from it's place to 'land' in a gleaming seascape that will come to be known as the Astral Sea.

Worn from the strain of his efforts, Corellon takes a moment to collect himself and 'see' just how bad things have become. What he sees awes him. Worlds colliding and joining, realms thought lost returned and darker, older threats brought back to the world. In this moment he knew things would be changed forever.

Yet hoped remained and in this ensuing chaos he saw a chance to do something that may never have been possible otherwise. As the very cosmos became mailable and changed, shifted and moved, Corellon used the last of his strength to reach through space and time to return the Realm of Faerie from the either and bring it closer to Toril.

As the planes merged, came adjacent and bridged each other, most of the Elven lands shifted to exist in both. Some, like Evermeet and Myth Drannor, solely exist in one or the other, yet both have echos in form.

Finished and pleased, Corellon sleeps, energy wasted for a time.

As time passes and the spellplague rages, The People find hope and Lost kin.

*Sorry, it isn't complete, might changed things a bit. I just spit this out...

Ideas and suggestions always welcome, of course.

Here is another one....

A Alternate Way to Depower The Weave and Mystra:

Mystra seeing the damage to the Weave caused by Shar and left over from the Time of Troubles decides she needs to change how the Weave works so it can adapt and grow. She calls forth all the gods of magic and forms the divine council of the Weave. The job of Weave caretaker and guardian is now shared among all of these gods with Mystra still as the leader.

Since she divided her power up among the gods she withdraws it from her choosen only leaving one(I haven't decided who, Elminster is too obvious) as her choosen. The rest are given immortality and becomes agents of this new council.

That seems a bit like what Feist did with the Conclave of Shadows. Instead of one individual taking up the mantle of Sarig, lost god of magic, the members decided to collectively take on those duties. Those books seem ever more apropo in 4e.
