Any more Forgotten Realms published adventures?

Feb 12, 2009 20:01:14 Just wondering if there is any talk about anymore FR published adventure books coming out anytime soon. Or are they concentrating more on the 'Scales of War' path?

I've started to play again (solitaire games mostly) and I've purchased all of the adventures books up to date but I was just trying to do character backgrounds and was trying to figure out what world to write them in. If there isn't any FR adventures coming out in the future I will stick with the published books that I have already or maybe the Scales of War path. I'd rather the ole FR world though, but it's all good.

Feb 12, 2009 20:04:04 -Not to my knowledge, or the future products product listing. Adventures are fairly easy to make, so I'd expect more in the future to be Forgotten Realms specific.

If I can find my notes I can post them up (H3 takes place in Chult, for obvious reasons though technically that zany wee module can be tossed in anywhere you felt like). P1 is easy to convert as well and P2 fits in very well anywhere in the Underdark.

The generic fluff in the books is really there just to get the adventure started and can be discarded easily and replaced with FR related setting material/lore to justify the adventures.

As to specific FR adventures there have been two:

Scepter Tower of Spellguard
And the Ice Tower whateveritis from Dungeon Magazine.

Unfortunately as I've mentioned in the past, both adventures overlap in levels and are even similar thematically. As Spellguard is the better module, it's unfortunate they overlap because I would have liked to run both, but alas.

There are also tons of Living Forgotten Realms adventures. Some of these are excellent and I've enjoyed running them.
