another part of the "forest war" series I'm doing 
meant to be a married middle aged wood elf
by matron I mean she has children and social respect/age, in contrast to way the drow use the meaning
in final scene she'll be firing arrows to try and halt a flood of enemies charging at her, to buy her young kids time to flee behind her
I didn't want the usual "wan, flimsy, pasty-faced elf", blech :p
