#1 whatdemonsdotosaints Jun 30, 2008 17:14:09	I did not understand when he withdrew a shade into his dagger, that he did not imbune into a shade himself like Cale. Was this because Shade as a class, was still underdevelopment, and not fully thought out before the twilight war? Or does RAS not like the idea of their characters looking different, yet just obtaining the abilities instead. Can he use Shadowstuff now?
#2 red_wizard Jun 30, 2008 17:20:48	He only drew a portion of the shade into himself, so it is more likely he has something akin to the Dark template. That would explain why he ran off at the end of the novel, as a way to be rid of him, without killing him off for 4e. That said, he may very well have the shade template now, but we'll never know, as he won't be re-stated. -RW
#3 entombmentofamachine Jun 30, 2008 17:55:55	So he's not going to appear in another novel anytime soon? Why couldn't they just get rid of Drizzt instead? Artemis story is more in deapth imo, Drizzt is just some homeless drow that wanders around looking to kill his boredom slaying a few orcs and snow giants here and there. The only thing I don't like about FR is the authors need to change the story to fit the DnD game. Like Wulfgar was suppose to die, fans threw a hissy fit. I wonder what FR would be like if authors could truely bring their imagination to life instead of a bunch of 12 year olds whinning about some emo barbarian dying. They couldn't handle Goerge RR Martin.
