in the blackstaff the novel it is mentioned during the ritual cleansing of the high moor; 'the cruel bounds that were placed on ashemmi's soul by manshoon were lifted' or some such... what was that actually? did sememmon knew? is ashemmi now (as of 4th ed) a nice dainty compassionate elf? how would that effect their relationship? how/why/when did manshoon do what he did? or for that matter how did ashemmi and semmemon meet?would semmemon be alive in the city of hope after a hundred years ? is there any novel about those three and their relationship with each other that i dont know? any help would be appreciated.. thanks in advance

I seem to remember that Ashemmi used to be a regular CG elven adventuress, before she put on a helmet of opposite alignment; she got into a bit of trouble that Sememmon got her out of and stuck with him afterwards. As of 3.0 FRCS, I do not remember her being under any mental compulsion, however - perhaps she decided she liked it?

I do not know what the Manshoon did to her, or when this novel was set. Around the time of the FRCS Sememmon was a fugitive, and she was with him.

She was a Harper, I remember that much... I think it might have been in something here on the WotC site, but I'll be damned if I can recall where that might have been.

-You have to buy them if you don't already have them. Paizo still sells them, I believe. Anything that was published by Paizo, and before them, WotC doesn't offer.
