| #1LordManshoonMar 02, 2010 22:58:26 | I admit, I don't have it yet, but I expect to get to a bookstore in the next few days. Borders says it came out today, but Ao knows I couldn't get to the store today; that won't stop me later this week, though. |
| #2The_SilverswordMar 02, 2010 23:51:41 | I havnt read any of those books yet. Theyre definitely on my list though, I love the Moonsea area, so much going on there, awesome local for a campaign, and yet, they still have not given us a Moonsea article, or even a background!!! |
| #318DELTAMar 03, 2010 0:09:35 | Thanks for reminding me. Its one of the best Realms series I have read. To bad they aren't having a contest for a signed one. My Corsair is a signed copy I won.![]() |
| #4LordManshoonMar 03, 2010 9:47:59 | I havnt read any of those books yet. Theyre definitely on my list though, I love the Moonsea area, so much going on there, awesome local for a campaign, and yet, they still have not given us a Moonsea article, or even a background!!! Swordmage and Corsair both provide great insight into the Moonsea of the new age.* The lack of a background is disappointing, but one can use the books to gain an idea of what the average person originating from the Moonsea region might gain. *Also, in Corsair's case: Show a look at what the Tears of Selune are like in 1479 DR |
| #5dm_lennyMar 03, 2010 9:59:09 | Mine still has a loooooooong way to my home (He is in Texas right now, going to Florida; from Florida, to São Paulo - Brazil, and so, to my city, Porto Alegre). I'm waiting to read this book since end of June 2009 (when I've finished Corsair), and I've being using some descriptions of both Swordmage and Corsair to illustrate my home campaign, and of course, the idea of tomb invasion being considered a crime is an obligation!!!! That is so cool about the region. Anyway, kudos to Mr. Baker! I can say I'm a little bit less anxious fan now!! |
| #6Keith53Mar 03, 2010 19:36:55 | Actually I got a copy (and read it) at the end of January. Rich Baker signed and gave away advance copies of Avenger at DDXP. I liked the tale, but then I generally like Rich's work. Keith |
| #7red_wizardMar 03, 2010 19:40:29 | I picked up my copy today actually, but I'm of the opposite opinion, where as I'm not a fan of his work. I just have an addiction and need to buy everything Realms, so what of it? :P That said, it really was my little window into 4e before the edition hit shelves, and since I liked what I saw, the trilogy's first novel sold me on the 4e Realms. -RW |
| #818DELTAMar 04, 2010 16:16:53 | Just got my copy.![]() |

| #1018DELTAMar 07, 2010 0:13:59 | I will probably start reading Avenger tonight, after I finish Paul S. Kemp's STAR WARS novel Crosscurrent. Which btw is a great read. I started Crosscurrent last night and I read about 250 pages into the novel. I couldn't put it down! |
| #11SmartPaladinMar 07, 2010 2:53:01 | I ordered mine a few days ago, hope it gets here soon. |
| #12LordManshoonMar 07, 2010 11:35:17 | I went to one of my local Borders yesterday and they didn't have any copies of Avenger. ![]() I still have another one nearby in the opposite direction, but I don't really have the free time this week. I did get Realms of the Dead (finally) and The God Catcher, though, so those will tide me over. ![]() |
| #1318DELTAMar 11, 2010 7:59:39 | Read up to chapter 9 last night/this morning. Pretty good so far.![]() |
| #14dm_lennyMar 15, 2010 18:25:57 | Get mine today!!! Starting to read in 10 or 20 minutes!!!!! |
