Mar 24, 2009 22:38:07 Hi can I get some help with background information for my PC?

I am looking at the beneifts of the Waterdeep background for my character

from memory it was +2 diplomacy and an extra language, can someone help/clarify?

(my friend has the book but I won't have access to it for another week or so)
I have an insider subscription, but the compendium does include this kind of info

You know one additional language of your choice,
you add Diplomacy to your class skill list, and you
gain a +2 bonus to Diplomacy checks.

EDIT: If you have DDI, the Character Builder is now an excellent source of background info, as it now incorporates all of the FR backgrounds, the Scales of War backgrounds, and the PHBII backgrounds. Tons of good info there.

I haven't been inclined to go back and try it

Not sure what it takes to impress you;
the character builder is full of impressiveness.

Mar 25, 2009 8:26:13 Especially now, the CB is made of pure, concentrated win with absolutely no saturated fat or artificial preservatives and is an excellent source of daily vitamins and minerals...kinda like Capt. Crunch without the crunchberries.:D
