Baldur's Gate?

Jan 08, 2009 21:39:37 I'm about to start a campaign set primarily in Baldur's Gate. Does anyone know of a site or a book with maps of the city? When I look online, all I can find are the PC game maps. While they can be useful, I'd prefer something a bit more detailed, along the lines of what's provided for Waterdeep in the campaign setting book. Anybody?

Jan 08, 2009 22:36:55 The most relevant and complete lore [maps included] on Baldur's Gate can be found in the Forgotten Realms Adventures hardcover, Volo's Guide to the Sword Coast, and the 1e and 2e FR campaign boxed sets.

Well, that is because Baldurs Gate II is set in Amn and has nothing to do with Baldurs Gate at all, except sharing a few characters and such from the first game.

They named the book after the top-selling computer game to make it a top-selling book! Easy enough! ;)

BTW, BG II starts off in Athkatla (Amn), while Baldur's Gate I starts off in Candlekeep. IMHO a neat reproduction of this hall of wisdom, if only a bit smallish.
