Does anyone know what happened to Beorunna's Well after the growth of Glimmerwood as described in the Forgotten Realms campaign Guide? Is it still there? Is it still the Ancestoral Mound of the Black Lion Uthgardt Barbarian Tribe? It seems that it is now covered by the Glimmerwood.

If not, what happened to it and what became of the various Uthgardt Barbarian Tribes?

Also, what languages do the Uthgardt Commonly Speak?

Thanks.

No clue about your first few questions, but the Uthgardt speak illuskan and common, or at least enough common to get by.

It just seems that the new map showing Glimmerwood, covers the site where Boerunna's Well was located. Perhaps it is now in a clearing in the forest.

Beorunna's well is actually the site of the PHB3 game day adventure. Not that there's a lot of realmslore involved, but it is mentioned, and so I think we can assume it *does* exist.

Not a lot of lore, just basically this:

THE LONELY TOWER HIDES EVIL SECRETS

In the Frontier village of Beorunna's Well, all is not well, Villagers have disappeared without a trace, and the locals fear to walk alone at night. Now, the villagers hear distant cries of terror at night, echoing from an abandoned fortress outside the village. A group of brave heroes must step forward to explore the Lonely Tower and end the treat to Beorunna's Well.

Man, guess those Uthgardt went pretty soft in a century... I'll be nice and ignore the treatment of Beorunna's Well up there... Laughing

You mean, as in making a village? Because Beorunna's well has been around since 2e.

I have to drive like two hours tommorow to do WWGD because inexplicably nobody seems to be doing it here in Louisville. Not even the place doing D&D Encounters. It is bizzare. Oh well, Yottaquest in Cincinatti is awesome anyway.

It puts a very different spin on the rest of the section I think... Laughing
