| #2Kensan_OniSep 17, 2008 2:34:01 | It is a bonus to healing. A player uses a Healing Surge. As they use it, you use your immediate reaction. They heal their surge (Plus previous bonuses for whatever made them spend the surge), and they gain an addition Ability Modifier bonus healing from the Blessing of Silvanus. |
| #3delrolandSep 17, 2008 2:54:18 | Then they need to fix it, because right now it is a Free Action and not an Immediate Reaction. Also, the flavor text would indicate regeneration. |
| #4Kensan_OniSep 17, 2008 10:10:20 | I blame the flavor text either on english majors, or a remains after a revision. I generally see it as a non-sensical section, also. I overlooked the Free Action section, though. That makes this impossible to use, doesn't it? I mean, it would end up working like Your turn, you use healing word on target, they spend their surge.... and then what? The chance to trigger has passed. I am willing to bet they ment No Action, as that would let you perfrom the action without lossing your ability to perform an Immediat Reaction... But you're right, the intent to me is pretty clear, but the execution is pretty sloppy. I'd suggest taking this up at the Q&A forums, and point out the problem to Customer Service for the FR update later. |
