| #1ZireaelNov 02, 2009 10:16:05 | I have a question: Let's have a following situation: drow ------------- glabrezu (demon) | draegloth (half-fiend) ----------- drow | drow half-fiend --------------- drow | ?
What comes last in the little tree? Or if the mate happens to be another half-fiend? I need your input... same thing can be with regards to elf-human mating or whatever...

Really its up to you, I mean this is fantasy genetics we're talkin about not real life science, so just make it up. I like crazy mixed up bloodlines myself, I ever mention the time I played A half Halfling/ half Beholder? Good times! My brother had a character who was 1/2 Human, 1/4 Elven and 1/4 Demon, He just refered to himslef as Half-Human if anybody asked. In 4e terms I would put him down as a Tiefling. They ought to make up more bloodline feats for situations like this, like an Elven Bloodline or Demon or Dragon or what ever. I miss Half-Dragons in 4e (Dragonborn dont count). |

I believe it's only been said that they're born sterile, not that they can't actually engage in lustmaking. There just won't be any... result of such a union. |

-Nothing would come of it, being as they're sexless. They really don't have very well defined sexes. They have genders and personalities that manifest as either 'male', or 'female', but not necessarily any...stuff. -As to the chart, given that both Drow blood and Fiendish blood is dominant, I'd say that, D&D mechanically, you have either a plain old Drow, or a Tiefling. Personalitywise, or whatever you want to call it, it'd be a lot easier to combine the two- a Drow who has a few Demonic quirks, or a Tiefling who has a bunch of Drow quirks. I prefer the former, myself... |
