I thought I saw an article somewhere that had core 4th edition deities and their FR equivalencies, for purposes of which deity you would need to worship to use the corresponding Channel Divinity feats. Does anyone know where this is?

I haven't seen anything "official" from WOTC.

The WotC guide for converting Keep on the Shadowfell to FR has a small chart with two deity equivalence entries:

Orcus - Shar
Avandra - Chauntea

However, that is meant specifically for the context of the adventure and not necessarily in the Realms at large.

That's the closest official "listing" I can remember. There may have been one other one floating around somewhere, but it escapes me at present.

Thanks! I think that's what I remember seeing. I guess I'll just wait until the Player's Guide comes out this month.

I remember what you search, it´s in the living FR material on the site. The wanted to offer it for LFR charaters, but the Players Guide comes out on the 16th this month, so they took some from the PHB.

In the FR game I just kicked off, I let players pick whatever channel divinity feat they wanted as long as they could explain it in a way that tied it to their god. I had a player who's a cleric of Shar decide to take the one for the Raven Queen explaining that Shar liked that he would kill others under the name of Moradin. He liked it and I thought it was interesting so we rolled with it. I think if the player can tie it into his character story or background then why should I stop him from it?
