Hey there. I'm working on a campaign that will involve, among other things, a Chosen of Asmodeus and a half-orc paladin of Obould and/or Gruumsh, and I'm wondering if anyone knows of any good homebrewed rules for chosen of evil deities and channel divinities for evil deities that could be of use to me?

Also, related question, does anyone know of a good 4e right up for the Hellfire Wyrm?

Thanks.

Dude I wish I could help you because your campaign idea sounds pretty kick ass, but I'm not down with the 4E rules.

Let's see: The only difference between the various Chosen is the level 26 Utility, so creating a Daily level 26 Utility for a Chosen of Asmodeus wouldn't be too difficult I hope (perhaps take the level 26 utility of Prince of Hell and refluff/rework as necessary?).  Also, unless you want to tailor a specific power for a Channel Divinity of Obould, Gruumsh or Asmodeus, Divine Power has quite a number of Channel Divinity powers you can poach from and alter to your liking.  For instance, in Divine Power, Asmodeus has the Civilization and Tyranny domains under him.  Creating a custom one based on these "themes" wouldn't be too hard, I hope.

Hellfire Wyrm? The first thing that entered my mind was "refluffed Ancient Volcanic Dragon", but seeing as Hellfire Wyrms can summon Baatezu as well, no harm in replacing one or two of the Ancient Volcanic Dragon's powers with a summoning power as well (summoning up to four of any minion devil or demon I suppose) then do whatever you want from there

Reading some of this makes me think Level 26 is a great place to drop in temptations from Fallen Gods.  Kind of like the "Servant of the Fallen" from Lost Empires of Faerun Pg.9, Powerful servants of fallen ancient gods would emerge to tempt or off set a group of adventurers hoping to raise their lost gods power.  Just an idea that popped in there.

I could see some adventurers rolling along on whatever quest or adventure and suddenly they meet some Necromancer or Dark Cleric (Assassin) who calls "secretly" his Lord- Myrkul, Mask, or Bhaal. That NPC would hire the party or would like to tag along and assist in anyway to achieve their secret goal or convert a party member over.  I may have to file this idea until my group break out of Paragon and into Epic...

Thinking on this concept, and with the advent of the Heroes of Shadow book, would the character be better served as a Blackguard [Paladin]? I don't know if the character was the main defender in the group and if so, then a quick change to the Chosen Utility power works well, but if he was just playing a Paladin for the name/style/flavor, I think a Blackguard/Chosen would also work very well.
