Any way it sounds pretty interesting. It sounds like to me that those Halruaan mages are still around, keeping an eye on things. Or perhaps its a far more sinister group? I love how Ed leaves these things up to the DM to decide. That and the rings themselves sound like a pretty cool magic item, nice write up for them, I want one! I just may have the party "find" one!
