I'm not very good at making prc's. I was wondering if someone could come up with a prestige class for a cleric of kossuth/burining brazier. Obviously focused on fire magic and able to summon fire elementals using 3.5 rules

Did you check the Faiths and Pantheons Elemental Archon PrC? It's 3.0 material, but is fairly compatible with 3.5 rules and should fit you in most respects. You may then get a bit of thaumaturgist for the planar ally spells, and maybe a fire elemental cohort.

yes I've checked the elemental archon. I'm looking for someone to create a new prestige class based on a cleric of Kossuth. Thank you

Ah, sorry. I don't think another deity-specific class is necessary, but perhaps something could be done. Are you looking for full casting, or more special abilities, and is there something particular you want it to have?

a balance between the two. around three or four spell caster levels lost. Also since burning braziers use flaming spiked chains something that goes with this should be included

Where is the Burning Brazier from, anyway? I haven't heard of it before.

They are the "special forces" of the clergy in Thay. They are first mentioned in Thomas Reid's Haunted Lands trilogy.

I'm going to have to add 'Battlemaidens of the Burning Brasier' as a Kossuthian priesthood for the Ixinos Project. :D

-The Black Flame Zealot can be adapted to what you are looking for.

That's a good idea Karsus. However, if someone has the time I would still like to see their take on a Burning Brazier

-I don't know why, but that gave me a somewhat cool idea, about an organization of Barbarians, or something to that effect, that work with Kossuth (or any other fire deity). To strike fear into the hearts of their enemies, they light themselves on fire, before battle...Maybe something like, the fire does 1d6 points of damage to them each round, but it doubles the bonuses they get for their Rage, and gives them a Fear effect, or something...

Use that with Whirlwind Attack and you got yourself a living ball of Napalm.

And think about it - those guys would be all scar-tissue and Freddy-Kruegerish looking.

That would make one hell of an awesome group of foes - make you want to cr@p your pants.

Great idea there.

Burning Braziers were first mentioned in Faiths & Avatars. They are the adventuring arm of the Kossuthan church, mainly church-based members (Tendrils Of Flame) who fell out due to internal politics. They go about the world preaching Kossuth's faith, starting fires and throwing their weight around.

As a group, they're bound to be a diverse and independent bunch, comprised of clerics, wizards, rogues, fighters, etc. No prestige class would cover them. If you're an adventuring Kossuthan, then you're likely to be a Burning Brazier already. Take any fire-based class, prestige class, or whatever, and you're done. For example, Elemental Archon (F&P), Bonded Summoner (MiniHB), Black Flame Zealot (FR:UE, CDiv), Elemental Warrior (Planar HB), etc.

Where I come form, we call them Pyros. :D

You could call an adventuring company the Fellowship of the Flaming Fa... ummm Bundle of sticks. ;)
