#1 jimbo7987 Aug 14, 2008 14:28:54	I haven't played in the realms since the day of AD&D 2E. So with the reboot, I;ve decided to pre-order the Campaign guide and check it out. Noob question coming up: is the core campaign setting now in both the Campaign guide and the players handbook, or just the campaign guide? Or, to rephrase the question, do I need both books to run a game as a DM? Thanks guys.
#2 Harn_Winterfell Aug 14, 2008 14:34:34	I would think that unless one of your regular players is picking up the FRphb that having both would probably be of great use.
#3 lord_karsus Aug 14, 2008 17:20:40	-I'll agree. You're probably just better off buying both (unless someone else buys one or the other). If you only had to get one, the FRCG is the more important of the two, as it's possible to run a Forgotten Realms campaign without the player's book.

I prefer to think of it as an evolution... When I think reboot I think of wiping things clean and there seems to still be a number of stuff still there form the past. Evolution isn't always a good thing to some though... Glad to see you are giving it a chance.:D

Glad to see you are giving it a chance.:D As a naturalist of sorts, I don't like the term "evolution" in this context. That said, I don't want to argue about that here.

True, but I was kind of referring to the general 4E reboot than an FR reboot. All I know about 4E FR is that they advanced the timeline 100 years.

What's wrong with the way I say things!!! I say everything exactly how I mean them!!! Except...of course...when I make that mistake and don't. Happens sometimes.
