#1 Dargurd Aug 16, 2008 13:44:33	Hi All, Having spent a number of weeks looking at the new 4e stuff and picking up the rulebooks ive decided to plunge into the realms for the first time in about 20 years !!!. Im thinking of making use of the Cormyr region detailed on the WOTC site but id also like to make use of the some of the older material thats out there. Can anyone recommend sourcebooks, websites etc for any edition that feature info on Cormyr please. Regards...
#2 lord_karsus Aug 16, 2008 14:46:50	-The DRAGON article on Cormyr should prove useful. The FRCG, when it comes out, will also be a necessity. Until that is published, and we have a clear view of what's going on with Cormyr, I'd stick with those two. Then, if Cormyr is mostly the same (and, I think it will be, based on the DRAGON article), there are a bunch of 2e sources that can be added into the mix. Off the top of my head, those would be Volo's Guide to Cormyr, Four From Cormyr, and the Elminster's Ecologies compilations.

#5 colman Aug 17, 2008 5:28:47	I've been busily collecting lore about the eastern reaches of Cormyr for the last couple of weeks, starting a campaign there, so the Hullack Forest and Thunderpeak threads here contain relevant stuff.

#7 markustay63 Aug 17, 2008 11:21:00	I usually run a game that takes place across Cormyr and the Dales - its a really good area, with plenty of adventure opportunities with nearby 'civilized' settlements to restock and rest. Be sure to checkout the Stonelands maps - both Campaign and DMs versions over in the Candlekeep map Room. You will also be able to find maps of Cormyr there, but the one that came with the recent article is the most up-to-date... and besides, its gorgeous. ;)
