| #1conanbAug 31, 2008 12:35:59 | I've just started a new campaign in the Forgotten Realms. We had a great kick off yesterday, we did a marathon session all day. The first big bad guy in this storyline is a Green Dragon. The players decided to do some research in the nearest city and the question came up historically what other green dragons have rampaged the realms. I couldn't think of any that I remember hearing off right off the bat. Does anyone else know of any famous green dragons in realms history? |

You may find something appropriate from there, also in Dragons of Faerun is another excellent source of information. Let us know what area/region and I'm sure I or another can provide more information. |

| #7Harn_WinterfellAug 31, 2008 16:05:09 | A few of the greens that were, could still be in that general region (if you are interested in the published setting ones): Of course after the Spellplague, relocation of lairs is always a reasonable possiblity. Claugiyliamatar "Old Gnawbone". NE Female ancient green dragon. The domain of "Old Gnawbone" encompases a significant swath of northwestern Faerun, and the dragon's notoriety for killing adventurer's spreads even farther out. She controls a network of human spies in Waterdeep and Neverwinter. Her greatest desire is to be like one of the powerful women who live in these cities, and the spy network grants her a glimpse into this dream. More information is of course cited.
