And they have definitely survived into 4e. There's this one novel that makes that quite clear. If only I could remember . . .

Oh, and the D&D Encounters adventure . . . by that one really tall guy . . .

I think I'd probably homebrew them using some of the Eladrin as a base and either some of the template/design-theme powers out of the DMG2.  For example:
 - Demogorgorad Cultist
 - Legion of Avernius
 - Orcus Blood Cultist
 - Hellbound Soldier
 - etc.

Alternately, you could start with say Succubus or other demon or devil and use the Feywild Denizen Design Theme to make them more Fey.

Either way, use the Crunch but make up your own looks, fluff, etc.

If you want 4e stats, daemonfey appear in the RPGA adventure SPEC1-3 Ghosts of the Past : Windsong Tower.

As for official fey'ri mechanics, I am hoping to get them published in a DDI article one of these days . . .

Erevan is probably the worst deity to swear by ever. Corellon is a better choice, yes, but Erevan would just be lulz-worthy.

Hmm. I just checked this, and while they are called daemonfey, they actually use different (reflavored) monsters.
They were quite a  fight though.

That's not uncommon in 4E. Take X monster, switch some powers and general keywords and it functions pretty well as something else. Just be careful not to use the normal monsters and what you change too close together or the PCs will get suspicious.
