What are Dark Elves doing these days?

What happened between the lifting of their curse and the spellplague?

Have they formed their own communities or they mingled with the rest of the elves and eladrin?

There haven't been many books published during or after the Spellplague, yet.  I finished reading the Abolethic Sovereignty a few months ago which takes place a little after the Spellplague, but no mentions of dark elves.  Also, Salvatore's new trilogy, Neverwinter Saga, takes place a few years after the Spellplague.  What I can gather from the first book, it seems the dark elves are already mingled in with the rest of the races.  They are more classified as uncommon than rare.

That is just my two cents.  Lets see what everyone else has to say.

By Dark Elves...do you mean the post-Lady Penitent Trilogy Dark Elves?  With brown skin and dark hair who are under the protection of Corellon Larethian?

Or Drow?

By Dark Elves I mean the ones that got their curse lifted (I mentioned it in my first post), and are no longer Drow.

It is a bit confusing since they never really elaborated on it. Typical post spell-plague lack of info on the Realms.

Area's I would assume they would be encountered the most are the Glimmerwood (Silverymoon area 3E) and thier old territories above ground now called the Amatar Forest. Another area might be Myth Glaurach? Not sure if the would be welcoming though.

Thinking about it, you could have small settlements anywere depending on were they left the underdark. I would think they would mix better with elven tribes vs eladrin particullary the gold elves which woul probably be the most untrusting.
