The article can be found here.

Personally, I think tackling Xxiphu should be an epic-level adventure. I could see myself converting this into the Aboleth Den adventure mentioned in last month's Airspur article.

Yeah, I was a little surprised when I saw it was THE big Xxiphu thing.  I suppose it's certainly viable as a "tip of the iceberg" type adventure.  You know, where we thought it was the big threat but really there's much more.  Whether it's epic or paragon doesn't really bother me though.  Edit:  Actually, it looks like it's supposed to be just the egg chamber in Xxiphu rather than the whole citadel.

Hm...I actually really liked the flavor-text/novel excerpt and would like to find out more about Yeva and Anusha.  As for crunch, I like the Mindcatching Ice a lot.  The aboleths themselves seem good with their various auras, the slime shift power, triple tentacle attacks, and persistent grab.  In other words, they are creepy and my characters don't want to play with them.

Does the Aboleths still worship Tharzidun, the chained god?

In FR? No. At least, there's a 99% chance they don't, since Tharizdun doesn't/isn't supposed to exist here. What happened to what's-her-face, the Blood Queen? Has any 4E material covered that (because I sure don't recall reading it)?

It's noted in the FRCG that they worship Ghaunadaur. Tharizdun does not canonically exist in FR but Ghaunadaur has some similarities to him/it and is a satisfactory replacement, IMO.

-As evidenced in City of Torment, the Aboleth of Xxiphu pay homage to "The Eldest", in the minds of the protagonists of that novel, the first Aboleth ever in existence, or at the very least, in Realmspace.
