i was looking for informations concerning the missing gods of the dwarf and halfling. More specificely Urogolan. is he still around ? was he an aspect of an another god (don't tell jergal...that would seem odd). any "official" tidbits ?....
feel free to fill in if you know about other gods as well.

they merged yondalla and chauntea.
I STILL disagree with that and STRONGLY so.

agriculture and motherhood are not all the same...

and the missing dwarf gods are dead.

the missing elves are either human deities and or become primordials.... or dead.

Some of the elven and gnomish gods may have been reinterpreted as archfey.

Urogalan, most likely an exarch of Chauntea (or Kelemvor). No 4e mentions of him so far.

erm, Chauntea? Why would you think that? IIRC, Urogalan had to do with protecting the dead and underground environments... I'd be more likely to go with Kelemvor. Although Urogalan used to be tied to Yondalla, but she doesn't seem to have survived the 4e transistion either. There's no official mention of either of them.

From the stuff in the FR Campaign Guide, it looks like the only Halfling deity to survive into 4e is Sheela Peryroyal, as a goddess of beauty. Except for Moradin, all of the Dwarf pantheon ended up as his exarchs (Clangeddin, my homey Dugmaren, Berronar, et al).

Actually, Berronar Truesilver is still considered a goddess in her own right, not an exarch of Moradin (see the Campaign Guide, page 80).

Mr. baker said they combined Yondalla with chautea, I asked him a while back, might be in the current ask thread, might be in the previous thread,
I'd look for a link, but its a nightmare to begin with.

he said they combined the two bwcuase they overlapped on the portfolios.

yondala: fertility
chauntea: fertiilization

the reasoning more or less was: how many goddesses of fertilization do we need in the realms.

I'd look for it, but its in one of the many ask the devthreads, and I see it mroe or less a night mare to read anyway, feel free to ask him.

I still disagree with it

Did Moradin get rolled into Gond (or vice-versa)? I could have sworn Rich or someone mentioned something to that effect a long time ago, before the sourcebooks even came out.

The demi-god pantheons were down-sized to their original 1e versions. They didn't 'create' anything - they deconstructed both the setting and the game.

The dwarven pantheon got pruned a bit towards the end of the Grand History of the Realms. In 1383 DR the Morndinsamman take on the deities of Hammergrim and lose Gorm Gulthyn and Haela Brightaxe during the battle, but Moradin takes out Laduguer and Clangeddin takes out Deep Duerra.

yondalla is considered officialy as an aspect of chantea, yes. As for urogolan, he could be an aspect of kelemvor or jergal. Personaly, i would go for jergal, as kelemvor is of human descent and more recent.
in my opinion, the existence of a particular god is relevant only if he is important in the campaign and the aventures. my game is set in the grey vale and the main official site of worpship for urogolan is close by, so it seemed useful to get information.

Garl Glittergold is still around, except that he and the rest of the gnome pantheon have moved from Golden Hills to Arvandor.

Baervan Wilwanderer, Baravar Claokshadow, and Callarduran Smoothhands are still there and serve Garl (who is now an intermediate god) as his exarchs.

Nothings is said about Flandal Steelskin, Gaerdal Ironhand, Segojan Earthcaller, and Urdlen. They may be dead. They may have been aspects of another deity, or they may still be around as non-god deities, such as archfeys or primal spirits.

being that elves of faerun are now called Fey along with the Gnomes, It would be that they became archfey.
