#1 Destroid Jul 04, 2014 16:17:21	Alright, I'm playing a 4E game and my character is an Eladrin Bard/Resourceful Magician(Wizard). Basically she's sort of a freak child who was experimented on to stop her from turning into some sort of fey creature before her body can handle it, and she has to give up part of the experimental seal to save someone, which could of course go badly. It's probably going to be an epic destiny thing. But basically I'm wondering how to describe what she is? I've picked the mechanics I'm going to refluff(Avangion fits very well for her becoming some sort of fairy).   I really like the idea of her weird family actually being Leannán Sídhe because they're not that far from how some Eladrin/High Elves act - I kind of see "Eladrin" as a good base for fair folk in general especially as it's already a collective term for different types of Fae.   Just for reference, the character has a history of sending people to sleep/into short comas if she kisses them, so I was thinking of some sort of energy drainy Fey would work, but the whole inspiration/muse thing fits her well too. Also she's a courtesan(but operates out of places warded against sleep magic, unless people specifically want that).  Any Folklore experts about? Also if I was to go down a Leannán Sídhe route, what feats/powers could I take to reflect that? I don't want anything outright vampiric, but something that can be refluffed as moving energy around might work.

#5 Destroid Jul 09, 2014 19:39:59	I just had a flick and it doesn't really mention the Leannan Sidhe all that much, though there was a really good story about a fairy that I'm assuming was intended to be a Leannan Sidhe dancing with people for a year and a day. Which is neat.
